    Rose (Botanical Name: Rosa damascena). Rose essential oil can also be solvent extracted and is then known as Rose absolute. It is usually red in colour whereas the steam distilled rose essential oil is clear in colour. Due to the high cost of the pure essential oil, Rose is usually sold diluted in jojoba oil. Rose essential oil had great empathy with the female emotions as do most flower oils.
